Bolivian Bus Games
In the course of riding Bolivian buses packed with, well, Bolivians, Tyler and I have invented a new game to pass the time. It's titled "Food or Butt", and basically consists of trying to categorize the intermittent smells which overwhelm us into one of the two categories.
Puffy Coats
In response to a number of inquiries: No, we don't wish we had our puffy coats this time. We're quite fine with Alpaca wool ponchos.
Diarrhea
Travelling in Bolivia imposes quite a different set of societal norms than either Tyler or I are used to. For example, it is perfectly normal, de rigeur in fact, to sit conversing with a beautiful young english girl about the various stomach, bowel, and "other" intestinal issues one is currently or has been experiencing to date, with much the same import as a conversation about the weather.
